Fly over the mysterious Nasca Lines!
Nasca Lines Flight Itinerary
Your trip will begin with pick up at your hotel or bus station in Nasca city. You can coordinate the pick-up with the vendor once you have reserved your space on the tour. You will be taken to the Maria Reiche Airport where the flights over the Nasca Lines leave from. Remember to bring your passport – even though you are not leaving the country, you are still required to present it!
Once you arrive at the airport, you will need to pay the departure tax (30 Soles per person must be paid in cash in Soles), be weighed and check-in for your flight. The flight schedule is only assigned once the passengers have arrived at the airport.
The Nasca Lines flight will be done in a Cessna Airplane which can hold up to six passengers. Each passenger has their own individual seat and window so that they get the best view of the geoglyphs below. This also increases their chances of capturing good photos and videos of the experience.
These incredible lines have been declared as Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO because of the mystery that shrouds their history. You will see 13 of the most important Nasca geoglyphs on your tour and there will be narration in both English and Spanish by the pilot/co-pilot to help you spot the Nasca Lines and give you some more background about them. The flight will last around 35 minutes. After the flight is finished, each passenger will be presented with their very own flight certificate so that they can remember this wonderful experience.
The transport will take you back to your original pick-up point in Nasca.
Nasca Lines Flight: Safety Considerations…
It is of the utmost importance to choose a reliable operator to fly over the Nasca Lines with. There are many companies which tout for business on the street offering rock bottom prices, however, they often cut corners which puts visitors at risk.
This is not the case with AeroNasca who make safety the priority. All of the guides and pilots are experts in flying around this area. The entire fleet of airplanes owned by AeroNasca has all the safety certifications required by the government agencies of Airport Security (DGAC certified). Careful maintenance is also regularly performed to ensure that each airplane in the fleet is operating as it should.
AeroNasca is the most popular of all the airline tour companies in Peru and over 21,000 passengers fly with them every year! You can see that they receive consistently high reviews from thousands of these travellers across all platforms, including Google, TripAdvisor and Facebook.
