“Ain’t no time for sleep. Welcome to the word of Loki Hostels: backpacker madness at it’s absolute best! Jump into the non-stop fun, you know you want to.”
Loki del Mar Hostel: Máncora, Peru
What makes Loki unique?
An Incredibly Vibrant Social Scene: Loki is all about joining the party and meeting your fellow travellers! Offering a range of daily activities, we’re talking beer pong tournaments, volleyball games, boat races, trivia nights, and even themed parties. An on-sight bar means that every single night, even Sunday’s, has something going on. There are even themed dinners where guests can sit down, enjoy some delicious food, and get to know each other a bit better! With so much to do may need a bit of a lie in the next day, luckily Loki has you covered with complimentary breakfast available until 1:00 am daily. Come prepared to lose your inhibitions and put sleep on the back burner!
Fabulous Facilities: Resembling a hotel much more than a hostel, Loki will blow your backpacker mind but not your budget. There’s a pool, a full bar, secure lockers in each room, balconies attached to the smaller dorms and private rooms (with beach views), a whole hammock area, a ping pong table, a pool table, and even a giant connect four board. These guys have you covered.
Direct Beach Access: Loki is located right on the beach, meaning you can go from bed to ocean in under a minute. There is even an onsight surf shop if you want to try out that left point breaker.
Membership into the Loki Family: In addition to Loki, Máncora there are five other Loki locations (with a Buenos Aires location opening soon). By staying at one Loki you become a part of the family and receive deals on your next stop. Staying at one location means you get a free drink at the next, four nights gets you a fifth night free and staying at three spots scores you a free t-shirt. Make sure you pick up your Loki passport upon checkout and start reaping the benefits.
A Sweet Work for Stay Program: Most of the friendly bar staff at Loki are actually staying at the hostel for free. By picking up some shifts while you stay (for a minimum of two weeks) you get a free bed, one meal, and discounts on the rest of your food and drinks.
